این فیلم همین هفته در سینماهای آمریکا اکران شده و رکورد فروش رو شکست و ماموریت غیرممکن 3 را با اختلاف بسیار زیادی پشت سر گذاشت.

ماجرای این فیلم از این قرار است که پروفسور رابرت لانگدان (تام هنکس) هنگامی که در شهر پاریس برای یک کار تجاری می باشد به موزه لور احضار می شود در موزه یک جسد پیدا شده است. از این به بعد لانگدان وارد ماجرایی می شود که از یک ماجرای سری بزرگ پرده برداری می شود.

این فیلم از طریق دوربین فیلمبرداری ضبط شده است. صدای فیلم هم بسیار خوب است.
